Terms and Conditions
Before enrolling onto your course it is important you have read and understood our Terms and Conditions set out in this agreement, by purchasing any courses you are legally entering into agreement to all the points below.
1.References
1.1 Within these terms and conditions there are various words which have specific meaning and reference to:
1.1.1 'we', 'are' and 'us' all refer to The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd
1.1.2 'you' and 'your' refers to the client
2. Training course bookings
2.1 The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd reserves the rights to decline or refuse admission to any or all of its training courses, workshops and refresher programmes
2.2 On the rare occasion you do not pass the accredited certification requirements in the opinion of the course assessor you will be required to return for further training, at no additional charge at the discretion of The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd. This excludes that in the event you are in breach of our terms and conditions or Health & Safety policies.
2.3 The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd reserves the right to cancel or change the planned training course/s with reference to dates, times, planned tutor and course content.
2.3.1 Courses can be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the original course date, notice will be given at all times via email and/or telephone
2.4 Any changes pursuant to clause 2.3 will be notified to you a minimum of 24 hours in advanced of the planned course date/time.
2.5 Irrespective of circumstances The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd accepts no liability for any loss of earnings, expenses or other costs incurred by you
2.6 All pre-study must be completed in order for you to attend the course
2.7 In the event that no date is booked for the start of the course it shall be agreed that the start date is agreed 30 days from receipt of payment this in the form of a deposit on full course balance
2.8 All courses must be completed and signed off within 3 months from receipt of payment
2.8 Prices may vary from time to time due to discretionary discounted offers
2.9 The terms and conditions of any offers of discounted courses are at the discretion of The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd
3. Payment
3.1 You may pay for your courses by the following methods:
3.1.1 Debit or Credit Card
3.1.2 Bank transfer on receipt of invoice, 7 day terms
3.1.3 Cash payment, full payment must be received at least 7 days prior to the planned course date
3.1.4 Third party plan plan providers including but not limited to PayPal, Klarna and Clear Pay
3.2 A course deposit can be paid to secure your course place, the remainder can then be paid no later than 7 days prior to the planned training day, these payment terms will be displayed at the checkout on our website if applicable
3.3 The full course balance required as set out in 3.2 must be paid by this date irrespective of changes made under section 2.3 and 2.4
3.3 Failure to pay the remaining course balance by the time set out in 3.2 or by the invoiced date will result in loss of the planned course date and or a daily late payment fee of 5% per day.
3.4 Any deposit payment made to secure a full price, discounted or discretionary course will be non refundable
3.4 Upon receipt of payment (deposit or full balance) a course confirmation along with access to the online pre-study will be emailed to you
3.5 The only acceptation to clause 3.2 and 3.3 is an agreed term of payment with a third party payment plan
3.6 Payment of deposit and full payment for course/s including third party payment plans confirms acceptance of all terms and conditions
3.7 Course prices are subject to a yearly price increase, any courses secured with a deposit during promotional periods and prior to price increases will receive the rate in which was displayed at the time of booking
4. Course cancellations, postponements & refunds
4.1 Combined online and classroom practical courses
4.1.1 By completing your registration for a course and making a payment of full or deposit payment, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
You have the right to cancel your booking under the following terms and conditions
4.1.2 Any course cancelled after registration - the course payment received excluding the course deposit amount for that course will not be refunded. Your request to cancel the course must be received in writing no later than 7 days before the course start date.
4.1.3 You are not eligible for any refund if you made the request for a course cancellation less than 7 days before the course start date, a training day fee will be applied for rearrangement of practical days with less then the required notice.
4.1.4 The right to cancel does not apply once your registration has been completed and once we have issued your login details for online study and or a confirmation email has been sent before receiving your cancellation request
4.1.5 The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd reserves the right to cancel a course if a number of delegates have not reached the minimum requirement to run the course effectively. The company also reserves the right to cancel in the event of unforeseen circumstances which disables a safe and or/effective training environment. In the event of a cancellation, The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd will either arrange an alternative course date.
4.1.6 All refund requests must be put in writing within the timeframe set out in 4.1.2 to info@shirebeautytraining.com
4.1.6 Once enrolment has been completed access to any required pre-study will remain active for 12 months from the date of payment, after this time accounts will be suspended and access will no longer be granted
4.1.6 All courses must be completed within the stated time frame or within a maximum of 3 months from the enrolment date
4.1.7 Course payments cannot be transferred to another course subject or package
4.1.8 Pathway courses purchased as a package and to include or not include practical training must be completed within the stated guided learning hours
4.1.9 Courses that have not been accessed, completed or signed off within 12 months of enrolment will be invalid
4.1.10 Course payments made cannot be transferred or honoured in the case of not meeting the full criteria or requirements of any course
4.2 Online courses (Distance learning)
4.2.1 By completing your registration for a course and making payment of full or deposit payment, you agree to the following terms and conditions
4.2.2 Under this refund policy and under guidance of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 14 calendar days from the date on which the contract of purchase concluded. Please note that, the right to cancel does not apply once we have issued your login details for online study platform before receiving your cancellation request to us.
4.2.3 If you choose to cancel within this period, you will receive a refund of the price less 25% admin fee within 30 days if you are eligible for a refund
4.2.4 All courses must be completed within the stated timeframe
4.2.4 If we posted any kits or study material to you, you should return this to us before the refund
4.2.5 Once a course have been registered, we cannot grant a refund.
4.2.7 All refund requests within the timeframe set out in 4.2.2 are to be sent in writing to info@shirebeautytraining.com
4.2.7 Access to online portals will stay valid for 12 months from enrolment, after this time the account will be suspended and access will not be granted
4.3 Discounted courses
4.3.1 All courses that are discounted or a have a discretionary price reduction attached are non-refundable
4.3.1 Course payments cannot be transferred to other full price or discounted training courses or packages
4.4 Course postpone - Classroom courses
4.4.1 If you need to postpone your course on medical grounds, a medical certificate and or doctors note must be provided to us in writing
4.5 Refund procedure
4.5.1 Any refund will take up to 30 days to process
5. COVID19 Terms and Conditions
We are following strict measures from the UK Government and Public Health England to ensure the safety of all staff, students models and clients at The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd. Therefore, if at any point models that have been booked in for you during your course unfortunately have to cancel due to any of the following: showing symptoms of COVID19, a family member has tested positive for COVID19, self-isolating, waiting for results from a COVID19 test, then we as a company cannot allow the appointment to go ahead.
We cannot be held responsible for cancellations that happen on the day or at least 48 hours prior to your course. Due to the high number of cancellations, this course result in the course being cancelled and rescheduled as a last result to ensure the safety and competency of our students in that they have the required number of models to be certified.
We understand during this time we have has more cancellations than usual and cannot be held responsible due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control and for following COVID19 safety guidelines.
Therefore, as we want to ensure your level of competency during your training at The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd, we will offer you a free CPD day at a later date to acquire additional models and secure your confidence in your chosen practice
6. Change of date or time
6.1 All requests to amend your course booking date or time must be made in writing to info@shirebeautytraining.com.
6.2 All successful requests to change a date or time of a course booking will be limited to a maximum of one occasion
6.3 The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd cannot guarantee you a place on an alternative course date or time but will endeavour to find an alternative
6.4 Should an alternative not be found clause 4 (above) shall apply
7. Data
7.1 In confirming a training course with The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd, you agree to us using any data you submit in order to process your order
7.2 Any subsequent use of your data will be agreed between us via another agreement
8. Models
8.1 The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd will do everything possible to facilitate live models for all courses where appropriate. In the event that pre-booked models cancel and the tutor agrees that student has not seen the requisite number of models, The Shire Beauty Training Group will use its best endeavours to offer a date to return to complete your practical with an agreed number of live models - this is in the very rare occasion.
9. Complaints
9.1 Any and all complaints will be dealt with as quickly as possible but within 7 working days. All complaints must be sent, in writing, to info@shirebeautytraining.com
9.2 Complaints received in writing by us will be acknowledged to you and will be dealt within internally, should this not be resolved internally this will be forwarded to an external complaints board as set out in our complaints procedure.
10. Professional conduct on the training premises
10.1 All students are to arrive on time to all courses, arrival 15 minutes later than the stated course start time will result in you being unable to join the training session and you will be required to attend another date which may result in an additional course fee
10.2 All students are to arrive with appropriate foot wear and suitbale clinical/beauty cothing (scrubs, tunic ect) these will be stated in detail within your course confirmation email, failure to meet these requirements may result in you being unable to carryout the training in line with Health and Safety, clause 10.1 applies
10.3 When working in a professional enviroment we expect all students and visitors to behave in a professional manner to staff, peers and models.
10.4 We have the right to dismiss any delegates not meeting the above standards
11. Disability & Reasonable Adjustments
The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd have the above policy in place, which we are happy to discuss if you think this may be relevant to you. A reasonable adjustment involves making a change to the way we usually do things to ensure we are fair to all those attending the training premises.

12. Refresher days
12.1The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd provide continued support after your training day. If you do not meet the assessment criteria on the day of your training you will be welcomed back to the Academy at no charge at our discretion to complete your training.
12.2For those who have been signed off and issued certificate a training fee will be applied for refresher days at the discretion of The Shire Beauty Training Group Ltd.
13. Course Sign Off
13.1 Completion of Online Pathway courses are either completed within 2 weeks as a fast track programme or a 8 week programme, course pre-study and exams must be submitted by or on the deadline date this being 2/6 from your enrolment date.
13.2 Courses that require online pre-study must be submitted prior to the practical training day
13.3 There will be a 3 month deadline to complete any case studies required in order to complete the course, this is to ensure learning is current.
13.4 Failure to meet the 3 month deadline will result in attending an in-house practical training day to display technical skills with a daily training fee and administration charge
13.5 Failure to complete the full course structure may result in your insurance being void in the event of a claim
